Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre presents Jack and the Beanstalk. Performances will be on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the WEM high school auditorium in Waterville.

Auditions:  Monday, September 26 at 3:30 p.m.

Up to 70 local young people are needed to play the roles of Jack, his fellow villagers, the carnival performers, the people of Orchestrania, the inhabitants of Featherville, and the trolls in this year’s performance. Not all students will be offered parts if there are high numbers auditioning.

Do not audition unless you can be available for the entire week. Auditions are open to ages 7-15. The session will last two hours, and everyone must be in attendance the entire time. Some cast members may have a short rehearsal following auditions. All others will be dismissed for the day.

Rehearsals:  Tuesday, September 27 through Friday, September 30 from 3:30 to 7:45 p.m.

Bring a bag lunch for supper. The cast will receive schedules on Monday.

Students must return the permission form to their school office before Monday, September 26 in order to request a shuttle bus pass or to be allowed to stay after school for auditions or rehearsals.
