Superintendent Ryan JensenSuperintendent Ryan Jensen began his role, leading Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Schools on July 1, 2022. While WEM is his first superintendency, Mr. Jensen has been an educator for the past 32 years.

During that time, Mr. Jensen served as a high school social studies teacher, coach, assistant high school principal, high school principal, and middle school/high school principal in the Minnesota school districts of Princeton, Rockford, Winona, and Walker-Hackensack-Akeley.

Mr. Jensen’s core values of learning, collaboration, relationships, integrity, and compassion are evident in the purpose statement that hangs outside his office door:

To work with all stakeholders to provide all students with a positive learning experience that opens the doors to as many post-secondary options as possible and prepares them for success in whichever path they choose.

Mr. Jensen has been married to his wife Jaimee for 24 years, and they have three children, Morghan (23), Cameron (19), and Emmery (14).

Mr. Jensen is looking forward to working with students, staff, parents, and community members to bring about the fulfillment of that purpose statement. Go Bucs!
