WEM Family Support Resources |
Dear WEM Families, We want to make sure all families in our school community are aware of the local resources for those who may need a little extra support. There are several community food shelves and programs in our area that can help with groceries, holiday meals, and other basic needs. Below you will find resources from both LeSueur and Rice County. We can help connect you with local food banks and other community resources confidentially. We want every WEM student and family to feel supported and cared for. Feel free to email or call anyone on the counseling team if you’d like more information or assistance. In addition, PIE (Partners In Education), is running a food drive for us to put together emergency food backpacks. If your family could benefit from one of these backpacks, please do not hesitate to contact us as we have some available to send home immediately. If you feel like donating to this food drive, the attached sign-up genius link is below.
